Subscription Starts in Qatar Oman Investment Company

Today, 17/06/2007, subscription starts in Qatar Oman Investment Company. The founding committee of QOIC has early announced the floatation of 60% of its shares for subscription for the nationals of the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, fifty-fifty. This percentage equals 18.000.000 shares (each country 9.000.000 shares).

Price per share amounts to Q.R.10.00, 30 dirhams fees included for each share. The minimum limit of subscription, which will last until 01 /07 /2000, is 100 shares and the maximum is 2000 shares for the nationals of Qatar, while the Omani nationals are entitled to start with 5.000 shares. It is decided that the issue result will amount to Q.R.300.000.000 so as to finance the Company’s operations and future plans. So, Qatar National Bank has been authorized to receive the subscription applications. It is expected that the DSM performance will not be affected by subscription operations. In the same vein, Qatar National Bank has launched a special campaign to customers who will apply for loans via (eIPO) for subscription in Qatar Oman Investment Company.

As soon as one applies for loan via “Easyinternet”, the application is automatically enrolled in a “Daily Draw”, which helps one recover the subscription value and charge resultant from the loan value. During the period of subscription,17/06 – 01/07 /2007,there will be ten winners in each and every daily draw.
